Diplomacy Seminar Series-Security and Diplomacy: NATO

We are pleased to invite you to the Diplomacy Seminars organized by the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Kadir Has University for the 2024-2025 Fall Semester. These seminars are designed not only to enhance students’ understanding of diplomacy but also to provide an enriching platform for academic engagement and interdisciplinary discussion among faculty.

Each seminar will feature prominent diplomats, experts, and professionals sharing their firsthand experiences in international diplomacy, making these sessions invaluable for both students and faculty alike. The topics range from global security and diplomacy to economic relations, human rights, and the role of media, offering diverse perspectives that will enrich our collective understanding of contemporary diplomatic challenges.

We would be delighted to have you join us every Monday at 15.00 in Room B522, starting with Ambassador Tacan İldem on 21 October 2024, who will speak on Security and Diplomacy: NATO. Ambassador İldem’s distinguished career includes his role as NATO Assistant Secretary-General and his contributions to the NATO 2030: United for a New Era report.
